If Ravenna can be thought of as "Charm", Venezia as "Beauty", Firenze as "Art", then Milano is definetely sheer "Elegance". From its broad avenues, neoclassical architecture, to the jewels of Duomo, La Scala and the Art Masterpieces in its Museums and Churches, exhudes the sophistication and excquisite taste this Lombard City has always shown.

The famous Opera House, La Scala

Cherished memories of Milano:
Via Montenapoleone, where the most beautiful boutiques in Europe (-in my opinion-) can be found, selling clothes and shoes with famous labels.

Il Ristorante "Piccolo Soldato D'Italia". where I tasted THE ultimate in profiteroles and the most fantastic Spaghetti a la Carbonara in the whole of Europe

And last but not least:
"La Rinascente", the Department Store comparable only to Harrod's in London.
